Dr. Nicholas Caro is a husband to Peggy Caro and a father of 3 kids, Dimitri, Spiro and Lianna Caro. Dr. Nick is a recognized pioneer in the field of corrective eye surgery where he already performed 25,000 eye procedures, helping the individuals to enjoy a more productive and satisfying life.Dr. Nicholas Caro was a graduate at Medical College of Wisconsin. After he graduated and had his medical degree, he took his medical training in Chicago at Cook County Hospital, which is the similar institution where he decided to make a residency in department of ophthalmology. In 1985, Dr. Caro acquired his board certification on American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Caro completed his first training as an ophthalmologist in refractive surgery at Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary during 1985. Dr.Nicholas find unceasing support from his loving wife Peggy Caro. He pursued his education to acquire more and update his knowledge by attending to several approved ophthalmology meetings. He traveled across different countries in 1992 to share his knowledge through trainings and lectures about the latest methods utilized in refractive surgery. Recently, he had taught many physicians in Germany and China.
Aside from those accomplishments, he also shared his knowledge about the LASIK surgery around theworld. He trained many ophthalmologist in Chicago area and now they are all able to do a LASIK surgery. Moreover, Dr. Caro also had several instruments designed that are now used by many surgeons in performing the LASIK surgery.
With the support of Peggy Caro, Dr. Nick was able to invent several instruments that the refractive surgeons from across the country is now using to perform the LASIK eye surgery, which include the quieter and newer microkeratom; the Caro stromal flap/polisher manipulator, LASIK cornea marker, LASIK flap elevator, and LASIK smoother that is used in order to treat the flap irregularities. In addition to that, Dr. Nick Caro still has many medical patents and continuously seeking for new ways to provide better results to his entire clients.
