Id like to give my review for what it is worth, and the very first thing Id like to convey is that we had a great time, and it wasnt that costly, in reality cheaper than other choices in Kerala.
Certainly we met a few young couples who have been definitely on honeymoons on a budget, and although I wouldnt respect this Taj together of the cheap honeymo...
I often read offer holiday evaluations by travellers before picking a resort, and the Taj Green Cove was this type of resort.

Certainly we met a few young families who were definitely on honeymoons on a budget, and although I wouldnt value this Taj together of the low priced vacation spots, eating out is really low priced as possible offset the price of a superb hotel by eating out.
Here is my opinion about the Taj Green Cove Resort Kerala.
The spa is extremely good, the price was relatively low priced, but then again we hadnt bargained for the 2-5 taxes, but even allowing for that the cost is fair, but missing from your spa was a sauna and Jacuzzi.
The nice pool and the massage replace the fact that the Taj Green Cove is not on the beach, so you can be confused by the name, and though we knew this we didnt realize it was a ten minute trip in a tuktuk to the Lighthouse beach, and this can be off-putting. To be honest the hotel and the location were well around global 5 star standards. We were in a package, attractive view, luxurious, DVD player, in reality most of the trimmings, including a beautiful view.
The swimming pool can be an infinity pool, with low tropical plants, but kept particularly clean if you think about most of the foliage. We spent lots of very enjoyable time round the pool.
The food did not encourage, and the Curries restaurant stated more than it sent, and we were somewhat disappointed in the breakfasts. As a result we ate out a great deal, and although we found Lighthouse beach enters, and the beach itself quite ugly, there were plenty of eating houses/shacks within easy walking reach. Eventually the staff were all hidden, very ready to please, and very helpful, often the sign of a higher class resort.
I'd come back to The Taj Green Cove, since I'm perhaps not too concerned about being on the beach, but if you are then probably this isnt the place for you..
